After a delicious lunch at the hotel we called our Uber to bring us to Prambanan.
Prambanan is a Hindu temple compound near Yogyakarta.
After the obligatory questioning by students for their English skills we were ready to explore the temple complex.
Besides the "main" temple there are a few other temples in the surrounding area, only a few visitors explore these temples, so everything was nice and quiet. Maybe this sign has something to do with it.
During the day we noticed that the nearby volcano (Mount Merapi) was smoking away in the background. Mount Merapi is the most active volcano in Indonesia.
