Day Eighteen
First on the agenda today was the thing that initially made me aware of Chongqing, and that's a monorail line that goes through a building.
At some point, it was quite famous on the internet, and let me tell you, it's still famous in real life. I don't think I've seen such a crowd of people for any touristy thing I've done up until now.
There are hundreds of people watching public transport, which is pretty cool!
I made my way back and rode the monorail to the last stop at the downtown core.
From there, I had no real goal and wandered around, leading me past this awesome-looking theatre.
I also passed the "Hongyadong Folk Custom Scene Area" again and decided to check it out from the inside.
At the bottom, I followed the river, and after many, many attempts to find the entrance, I got onto the bridge that runs just past the "Hongyadong Folk Custom Scene Area" for one last top view.
With that in the pocket, I made my way back to the other side, to find some dinner around my hotel.
