The weather predictions for the next couple of days are not great, mostly "Thundershowers" throughout the day.
It's probably not a good idea to go hiking with these predictions.
So I stayed in Taichung city and mostly did a bunch of café hopping between the rain showers.
Hsinchu
The next day I took the train to Hsinchu, where I was supposed to go on another hike.
The rain was still coming down like crazy.
I did the same thing as yesterday, a bit of café hopping between the showers, and took my time with the train ride.
On the final day of rain, I took the train from Hsinchu to Taipei and spent the rest of the day doing laundry and relaxing at the hotel.
