Today was all about conquering the highest mountain in the area: Mt. Geumjeongsan with the Beomeosa Temple at her foot.

The route was quite steep but very nice and cool for the first part, in the forest. Eventually it opened up and we could see the destination of our track in the distance.

Prepared as ever, we got to the top with just a half-empty bottle of water. This just wouldn't do in the eyes of a kind elderly Korean woman, who offered us apples while we enjoyed the amazing views from the top.

From Mt. Geumjeongsan we had to take several busses to get to our next destination, Haedong Yonggung Temple. It was going to be a close call, as it was getting late in the day and the temple closes relatively early. Thanks to the bus driver pointing us the other way (the right way ;)), we made it just in time to explore the temple.

As the sun set, we began to make our way back to the hotel, which took several hours as we were quite far out of the city and had to take the train back.
