Time to discover New Orleans

After an hour of walking we reached or first destination of the day, NOLA Smokehouse, were we treated ourselves with a nice short rack of ribs that were on the BBQ for several hours.

Walking back to the French Quarter we stumbled across the WWII Museum. We decided to get out of the cold and into the Museum.

A 4D movie was playing, narrated by Tom Hanks, that described the war. The movie incorporated props such as the hull of a Bomber, Anti Aircraft guns and a Guard tower. These props were combined film footage and was really well done.

The final destination before we headed off to Baton Rouge, the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 where the main attraction is the grave of (still alive) Nicolas Cage.

This is it, the future grave of Nicolas Cage.

After the semetery we walked through the French Quarter where live music was playing and back to our car to head to our next stop: Baton Rouge.
