Day seventeen

The train ride from Xiamen to Wenzhou takes about four hours. Include the 40 minutes you need to be there before departure for check-in and security (High-speed train travel in China is more like flying) and a 50-minute metro ride to the station, which is a full day of travel.

After another bento breakfast, I checked out at 09:30 in the morning and made my way to the train station.

The train departed at 12:10 and arrived at 15:58.

The walk to the hotel was about 30 minutes because I had to figure out how the train station worked (They are huge, and picking the wrong side to exit can set you back 10 minutes of walking).

After check-in, I looked for food around the hotel, but the area was still being developed, so it was a food desert.

I had to walk a good 30 minutes to get to an area with more food and found this braised chicken place (it was okay).
