Day Fifteen

After yesterday's adventure, we stayed a little bit closer to home this time. We took the cablecar that goes right next to our hotel to the top of Tianmen mountain.

This cablecar is marketed as "the longest in the world" with a distance of nearly 7.5 kilometers (it takes 30 minutes).

At the top of the mountain, a pathway goes around the edge, giving fantastic views of the surrounding area. Some parts are made of glass.

After an ok lunch, we started on the second part of the loop.

In the distance, you can see the walkway along the ridge.

We were nearing the end of the loop, and the weather improved a bit. While it never rained there we lots of clouds and the forecast wasn't great (50% chance of rain).

After taking many escalators down, we were nearly at the end of our trip; all we had to do was go down these stairs...

...and take a van down this "99 bends" road.

After a short stop at the hotel, we headed out for dinner and called it a day.
